Identifying the winners of tomorrow
As a leading, global asset manager, we believe our clients’ portfolios are too important to be on autopilot.
That’s why our team of over 700 investment professionals conduct rigorous research across the globe to uncover opportunities for our clients. They go beyond the numbers to meet with companies, be it in person, on-site or virtually, to evaluate how they are performing today and, more importantly, to make skilled judgements about how we think they’ll perform in the future.
Our active approach to portfolio management is backed by the depth and experience of our investment and research teams and the prudent risk management frameworks we apply.
Each of our investment decisions is backed by one of the industry’s largest and most experienced buy-side platforms, with local analysts working in tandem with a global network of specialists across all industries. The scale, breadth and quality of our research gives us the ability to analyse any opportunity, anywhere in the world, at any time. So, when opportunities present themselves, our teams are ready to jump on them.
Our analysts scour the world, going beyond the numbers to search for real insights of change.

Why experience matters:
It means we’ve seen it all, good markets and bad, over many market cycles.
So as conditions change, we’re able to remain focused on achieving superior long-term results for you and your clients.
To maintain an edge, each of our analysts must seek to think and see things differently across the industries and opportunities they cover. That’s why we’ve built a team of specialists with varied backgrounds and experiences who can challenge the consensus and bring unique perspectives to the decision-making process.

Our people think independently but act collaboratively, with equity and fixed income colleagues constantly exchanging learnings, ideas and opinions across sectors and countries. This holistic input gives our investment teams different perspectives to enhance their decision-making, and helps build conviction about when to move with the crowd and when to move against it; when to quickly take advantage of market fluctuations, and when to hold tight.

Responsible Investing
At T. Rowe Price, we believe we have a duty to understand the long-term sustainability of the companies in which we invest. Which is why environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors are key considerations in our investment decisions.
As part of our analysts’ resources, we have developed a proprietary research tool which allows for improved coverage of ESG factors beyond third-party data.
This information helps our teams evaluate the environmental, social and ethical profiles of over 14,000 corporate entities worldwide and focus on the factors they consider most likely to have a material impact on the performance of our clients’ portfolios.
